The faculty offers geoinformatics in connection with surveying, cartography, or management as a direct programme, as well as surveying via correspondence.
The faculty of design trains designers to develop products in various fields such as industry, the service and transport sector, public works, and private households.
Instruction and research at this faculty support the disciplines of informatics, economics, and media informatics. It also provides mathematics training for nearly all study programmes at the university.
There are five study programmes involving environmental studies, agriculture, and horticulture. This includes food production, environmental observation and design, planning of public spaces in settlements.
