The faculty of agriculture and landscape management offers programmes in

• agronomics,
• horticulture,
• landscape and open space development,
• environmental monitoring and analysis,
• and beginning this winter semester 2010, production management in agronomics and horticulture.

These are offered as a bachelor's or master's degree (production management).

The campus is located in Pillnitz in the immediate vicinity of our testing areas and close to Castle Pillnitz. Lectures mainly take place in Pillnitz, but also partially at the main facilities of the university close to Dresden's central train station.

Since we only enrol approximately 120 students each year, students and instructors usually know each other personally. Our students are not simply part of an anonymous group; instead, they are supported individually. We offer our students practically-oriented programmes in a very scenically attractive environment.

Three important scientific institutions are also located here, and together with these, we form the "Pillnitz Green Forum": this includes Saxony's State Office of Environmental, Agricultural, and Geological Affairs, the Julius Kuehn Institute, and the state-run agency "Castles, Chateaus, and Gardens of Saxony".
