Because of the international orientation of the degree course “International Business”, training in foreign languages is essential besides acquiring specialist business knowledge. During the course, you will enhance your language skills in two foreign languages. With English as the first foreign language, you can either select French or Spanish as your second foreign language. For the successful completion of the Bachelor study programme "International Business", the applicants need a very good command of English as well as foreign language competence in Spanish at A2-Level or in French at B1-Level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

No matter if you decide for Spanish or French as the second foreign language with the first foreign language English, it is our aim to prepare you well for your obligatory stay abroad and your international career. In particular, learning and deepening business vocabulary is very important in order to be enabled to act internationally and self-confidently at a C2 level.

The well-equipped language lab provides many possibilities to deepen your knowledge.

Stays abroad

The development of the student’s international experience is a central concern of this degree course. On the other hand, students apply and develop their knowledge within an internship in the 6th semester at an international enterprise. During this time abroad, students gain intercultural experience that enormously upgrades a curriculum vitae.
