Leave of absence

A leave of absence is only granted on written request. This must be submitted by the end of the re-registration period (stating the reasons) and must include the supporting documents before the leave of absence commences,

In justified exceptional cases, the application can be submitted no later than 15.04. for the SS or 15.10. for the WS..

A student can be on a leave of absence for a maximum of 2 semesters.
During a leave of absence, students shall remain members of the University and have to re-register each semester and pay the semester fee for the Student Union and the University Student Council.
During a leave of absence, examinations can be sat upon request.
