Service Overview

For better clearness, the IT Service Centre divides its services into the following three service categories:

The service overview contains links to the service topic pages, which describes the selected service in detail. There you can also find assistance for the installation in form of instructions or useful notes.

Please note that depending on the membership of one of the target groups students, employees or guests, there are restrictions regarding the use of the services of the IT Service Center. Auditors receive a limited HTW login with their permission, which gives them acces to DOM-PCs and the learning platform OPAL. They also can use a HTW e-mail address.

The IT Service Centre often ist confrontend with requests, which do not belong to its services. Thats why, the service overview contains a table with services of other HTW Dresden departments and responsibles for the corresponding service. 

In addition to the service overview, you can find another table with selected services of the German Research Network (DFN). Members of the HTW Dresden, which have a valid HTW login, can use these services free of charge.
