Open Access publishing with QUCOSA

Open Access publishing with QUCOSA

The document and publication server Qucosa (in German) is used for the free publication, indexing and long-term archiving of electronic documents from science and industry. Members of the HTW Dresden can publish scientific papers and theses on Qucosa in electronic version. The publications are permanently archived and usually listed in the online catalogue of the library.

See all the advantages of Qucosa at a glance:

  • Worldwide access to full-text search
  • Ensured citability due to a persistent web address (URN)
  • Reference in catalogues, directories, and search engines
  • Extensive research options
  • Long-term storage
  • Support of Open Access

We offer you support and guidance in the publication process and advise you on all aspects of your open access publication. On demand, we can also give a lecture to introduce interested groups to the topic of open access and show you the various publishing options. This video (in German) will give you a first insight into the topics Open Access and Qucosa.

Please note: Publication in QUCOSA does not replace the obligatory registration of your thesis on the thesis server of the HTW. Please contact your supervisor in this regard.
