Since 1998, the Studentenwerk Dresden has been conducting an annual exchange together with Florida State University and the financial support of the Max Kade Foundation: The Beyond Borders Program. The trip to Tallahassee/Florida takes place between February and March (during the semester break). The aim of the programme is to get to know the partner country even better. The various activities enable you to learn more about the USA and the people living there.

In addition to the tourist programme, you will also be involved in social projects and experience everyday student life on "Shadow Day". By the way, but very intensively, you will get a lesson in the "American way of life". The program also includes an "Independent Travel" (4-5 days), which you organize yourself with your group. There you have the opportunity to discover Florida.
