In order to meet social developments and future challenges of the science system, it is essential to sustainably integrate the talents and potentials of all university members. Greater diversity brings with it more creative solutions in study, research and work. In its mission statement, among other things, HTW Dresden is committed to the goal of equal opportunities and respect for all people, regardless of their social, ethnic and religious background. With our measures, events and advisory services, we would like to support the equality of all genders, barrier-free study and working conditions, the compatibility of studies, career and family, as well as the opportunities to participate in education. News
"Coaching - Career Goal HAW-Professor" Program
The program of Mittweida University of Applied Sciences is aimed at women* with a PhD who would like to apply for a HAW professorship (in Saxony) in the near future or who are already in the application process. Registration until 1st June.

Survey on female scientific careers
Among other things, the survey inquires about the perceived visibility of female scientists, hindering/promoting influencing factors, measures used and further needs for more visibility. The survey will run until 17.06.

Theme week "Fathers in focus" 30.5. - 3.6.2022
Employees of the HTW Dresden are cordially invited to the theme week "Fathers in focus" of the TUD. From 30.5. - 3.6. a traveling exhibition will be on display and 2 lectures on strategies for expectant fathers and on modern will be offered.

Lectures about Care from the Work and Family Network
As part of the Dresden Work and Family Network, the TU Dresden offers expert lectures on various care topics. Employees of the HTW can use the offers to inform themselves and to get into conversation with other participants.

Workshops and lectures at the university festival
At this year's university festival, students and employees can take part in workshops on sign diversity-sensitive language. On the topic of care, there will be a presentation by TK and "Matchmaking - Care 4.0". More info on the website.
