Student life in Dresden and surroundings
One day in Dresden
Beach and Baroque
Where can you babecue on sunny Elbe meadowsin the river valley with a view of the old town? Where can you play beach volleyball in front of a baroque background? With us here in Dresden.
Dresden is young, green and always on the move. You can cycle and skate endlessly along the Elbe or in of the biggest parks named Great Garden. Walking around is worthwhile everywhere in Dresden anyway.
The most casual district in Dresden is the Neustadt. Here people party at night and sit in cafés during the day. Delicious food, drinking beer in a relaxed atmosphere, successful shopping in small stores and the huge festival "Bunte Republik Neustadt" (colourful republic of Neustadt) every year: In the young trendy district Neustadt you are always in the right place.
Our view of Dresden's most beautiful sides
Have fun on our little trip through the probably most beautiful city in Germany. Two Dresdeners will show you their favourite places. Thanks to Denny Bräuer and Torsten Schwarz for the video!

National Park Saxon Switzerland
There are moments for which others fly thousands of kilometres. We have them right next door. Get on the subway, half an hour's ride and you're in the middle of it. The Saxon Switzerland National Park, with its wild, unspoilt gorges and striking sandstone cliffs, is a special natural area.
