End-Of-Study Scholarships - STIBET 2021

The main goal of the scholarship is to provide financial support to international students during the preparation of the final thesis, so they can fully concentrate on their final degree. International students that are financially weak, have achieved very good or good grades and are in the final phase of their studies are eligible to apply.

Target Audience

Foreign students with a foreign citizenship enrolled in a diploma, bachelor or master course (except English-language Master) at the HTW Dresden

• university applicants that are not enrolled at the HTW Dresden at the time of scholarship application and exchange students cannot apply

Requirements

• good achievements (average mark of achievements until now should be at least 2,5)
• a successful final degree can be expected within a year (final thesis has been registered or at least 75% credits have been achieved)
• financial need (without personal negligence)
• a combination of this scholarship with a different one (regardless of its type and amount) or an income over 450€ is not possible

Amount & Duration

• End-of-Study Scholarships at 300€/month
• 3 months in 2023
• for 2 Students available 

Required Documents

• current certificate of enrolment
• completed application form
• current transcript with the average mark
• registration for the final thesis
• statements of account of the last 3 months
• explanation of financial distress (typed text, max 350 words)
