Senate, Extended Senate and University Council

The Senate is one of the central organs of the university. Its areas of responsibility include inter-faculty fundamental decisions in research and teaching, the adoption of university-wide regulations or statements on overarching issues. The term of office is five years.

The Extended Senate, as the central organ of the university, decides on the enactment and amendment of the basic order. It is responsible for the election of the Rector.

The University Council is an advisory and control body; it participates in the development of strategies as well as in the structure and development planning of the university. It gives recommendations for creating a profile and improving the performance and competitiveness of the university.
