DAAD language certificate
Are you planning a semester abroad during your studies and need proof of your language skills? We will be happy to help you - with the DAAD language certificate.
Procedure:
- Fill in the official DAAD form in full and sign it.
- Send it together with your current transcript of records to: zfs(at)htw-dresden.de
- Students stuyding in English-only degree programmes* should send their current confirmation of enrolment instead of their current transcript of records
- The certificate can usually be issued within two working weeks.
You can then collect it from the office during office hours - or have it sent to you electronically if you wish.

Please note:
- The DAAD language certificate can only be issued for language courses completed at HTW Dresden .
- Unfortunately, we cannot certify achievements from other universities.
- Students on degree programmes without a language componentcannot take a language test at the Centre for Foreign Languages.
Alternative options:
If you are unable to provide proof of a language module at the HTW, we recommend that you find out about alternative language testsrecognised by the DAADat an early stage. You can find an overview directly on the DAAD website.
