From 05. to 09. October 2020 the orientation week for International Students takes place at the HTW Dresden.

The Matriculation Ceremony on Monday will kick off the orientation week. The Rector Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Katrin Salchert will welcome the new students. During the week, the students will get to know the university and the student life. They are supported by the student association faranto e.V. who also run the buddy programme. In addition to organisational matters, such as registering with the residents' registration office and organising their studies, the orientation week programme for exchange students includes a hiking trip. International degree seeking students can find current information on the programme on the ESE-website and will be informed via e-mail additionally. Current information and possible short-term changes will be sent by e-mail before the beginning of the orientation week.

All events will take place in compliance with the current hygiene regulations. The current hygiene regulations of the HTW Dresden can be found here. Please do not participate in the on-campus events of the orientation week if you suffer from suspicious symptoms, especially fever, cough or shortness of breath.
