TUDIAS co-operation for HTWD students
Dear students,
Would you like to improve your foreign language skills? In the summer semester 2026, you will once again have the opportunity to take part in selected TUDIAS language modules on a self-paying basis.
🔹 Participation fee: €150.00 per course - regardless of the number of semester hours per week (SWS)
🔹 Choice of languages: Arabic, Chinese, Finnish, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Czech
🔹 Non-selectable: English, French, Spanish and German as a foreign language courses cannot be taken.
🔹 Levels (new): A1 / A2.1 / A2.2 / B1.1 / B1.2 / B2.1 / B2.2 / C1.1 / C1.2
(This replaces the previous "+" system with a clear numbering system.
The change only affects the designations. The content, requirements and learning objectives of the courses remain unchanged).
🗓️ Important dates & registration
* Course overview TUDIAS: As of 23/03/2026 in Opal under course offers/class schedules SoSe26
* Registration deadline: From 23.03. to 30.03.2026 (13:00) after registration in the internal area of the HTWD via the link below link.
* Required for registration:
- Surname, first name
- Date and place of birth
- Gender
- Postal address
- HTW e-mail address
After your registration you will be contacted directly byTUDIAS regarding the payment modalities and the further procedure.
* The language courses start on 20.04.2026
💼 Financial & administrative matters
After timely registration via the HTW event calendar, you will receive an invoice for €150.00 from TUDIAS. Only after payment of this invoice by 6 April 2026 (Easter Monday!) will you receive your ZIH access information and be able to enrol in the course via OPAL.
👉 Please always log in with your ZIH login after receiving your access information.
You can choose from different course times and enrol accordingly. If a course is full, please make us of the waiting list. In our experience, places do become available and teachers usually allocate additional places in the first two sessions.
Communication during the semester takes place exclusively via your TU Dresden ZIH login / directly with TUDIAS.
📚 Once you habve obtained a foreign language course
- The foreign language courses offered in this co-operation are for your personal development. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate of attendance from TUDIAS, which you can enclose with your application documents, for example.
- As part of the cooperation, the ECTS points earned cannot be credited to your HTW-curriculum.
Please note:
There are 50 places available as part of the co-operation. Cancellation is not possible after successful enrolment.
