1st SME day

First SME Day at HTW Dresden held with success

The Center for Medium-Sized Businesses (ZfM) at the Dresden University of Applied Sciences (HTW) organized the first Medium-Sized Businesses Day at the HTW on Thursday, May 26, 2011, in cooperation with the German Association for Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW).

In lectures, forums and presentations, solutions to the current challenges facing the management of medium-sized companies in Saxony were presented and discussed from a scientific and entrepreneurial perspective. The focus was particularly on the opportunities for knowledge and technology transfer between the university and entrepreneurial SMEs.

The conference was attended by up to 100 participants from practice and science - entrepreneurs, scientists and students, who also made intensive use of the opportunity for mutual networking.

Due to the positive response to the SME day, a continuation next year is firmly planned.
