Innovative module - Prototyping

The ESF Plus funding guideline for start-up initiatives is intended to help stakeholders at scientific institutions in the Free State of Saxony to further develop a culture of independence, personal initiative and entrepreneurial thinking.
To implement this, the Saxon universities have decided to bundle some of their support services for start-up projects within the framework of innovative modules in order to establish a Saxony-wide programme. The so-called innovative modules are intended to implement measures that go beyond the standard programme and address specific start-up-related issues, try out new solutions and contribute to networking.

The university partners are focussing on three sub-modules:

• Prototyping
• Bootcamp and masterclass
• Founder personality and co-founder matching

HTWD's Lab X is involved in the innovative prototyping module. The focus here is on the idea of making existing infrastructures and associated expertise accessible and easier to use for a broader target group of start-up projects.
