On 13 February, Dresden remembers the consequences of war and dictatorship. The human chain in the city centre is once again the central moment of remembrance. HTW Dresden also supports the call for participation.

Experience Franco-German friendship in Metz

The Université de Lorraine in Metz is the latest addition to HTW Dresden's network of French partner universities. The School of Management there organised the Journées de l'amitié franco-allemande in January. Erasmus student Clara Däbritz was one of the participants.

The HTW Dresden - University of Applied Sciences (HTWD) held its University Information Day (HIT) on 15 January under the motto "Focus on the future". Around 875 prospective students took the opportunity to find out all about the degree programmes on offer and to get to know the campus in Dresden and at the Pillnitz site.

MBrace: New generation of scoliosis orthoses for greater freedom of movement and comfort

The European research project MBrace is developing an innovative scoliosis corset made from modern composite materials. Designed to be lighter, more flexible and fashion-conscious, it improves the wearing comfort, mobility and treatment compliance of young patients. The design was developed at the HTWD. The recently released project film documents the work process.

Saxon Hydrogen Union: Paths to climate-neutral industry

The joint project "Hy²Cycle" is developing technologies for a cycle-orientated hydrogen economy in Saxony. The HTWD is involved in the project together with the technical universities in Dresden, Chemnitz and Freiberg.
