Excursion to Taiwan

Over 200 participants at the fourth Summer School Computer and Geoscience in Archaeology
08.07.2024The fourth Summer School 'Computer and Geoscience in Archaeology' took place at HTW Dresden from 3 to 14 June 2024. This was held in conjunction with the new Master's programme of the same name, which specialises in teaching computer and geoscientific methods in archaeology.

HTWD exchange students study in China with a scholarship from the Christian Bürkert Foundation

Variety of science: that was the #LNDWDD
18.06.2024On 14 June 2024, the Dresden University of Applied Sciences (HTWD) opened its doors to the Dresden Long Night of Science and offered 3,500 visitors a varied programme full of exciting insights into the world of science and research. Under the motto "Experience the diversity of science", the HTWD presented a broad spectrum of knowledge, entertainment and surprises together with non-university research institutions and companies.

Microalgae as helpers for sustainable management: The best young researchers 2024
07.06.2024Chemical engineer Philipp Scherhag is this year's winner of the HTW Dresden's Young Scientists Award. He was awarded the prize of 1,000 euros for his doctoral project entitled Purification of industrial wastewater with microalgae and investigation of a recyclable material production process.
