HTW Dresden

The University of Applied Sciences Dresden (HTW Dresden), with around 4,800 students, is the second largest university in Dresden. Research and teaching at HTW Dresden are guided by three interdisciplinary profile lines: safeguarding natural resources, developing sustainable mobility and infrastructure, and shaping, connecting, and digitizing business and work. With its application-oriented research, the university is an important partner—particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises in Saxony—and is well connected to the many research centers that make up Dresden’s scientific landscape.
