Aini from Universiti Kuala Lumpur MITEC, Malaysia

Hi everyone! Salam sejahtera! I'm Aini from Universiti Kuala Lumpur MITEC, Malaysia. It's such a privilege to be here at HTW Dresden through the International Student Exchange Mobility (ISEM) program, thanks to Universiti Kuala Lumpur. With the guidance of my supervisors, I'm delving into the dynamic fields of programming and engineering, particularly focusing on integrating a smart device into a robot vehicle for tasks like emotion detection. Every day here is a new adventure, offering me a wealth of experiences that I wouldn't have had back home.
Looking forward to making the most of my time here! Tschüss!

Caleb Reurink from University of British Columbia Okanagan, Canada

Hello, I'm Caleb Reurink. I'm from University of British Columbia Okanagan in Canada.
I'm here on the RISE DAAD program working on cloud computing.
I'm looking forward to gaining experience with developing software and exploring Germany.

Gabriel Rodriguez, University of Calgary, Western Canada

Coming from the majestic scenery of the Rocky Mountains of Western Canada, my name is Gabriel Rodriguez, and I am a 4th year Computer Science-Business student at the University of Calgary. I am currently in HTW Dresden through the DAAD RISE Germany Research Internship Program, where I am eagerly anticipating such an unforgettable experience learning and working in the field of Reinforcement Learning. I am really excited about navigating through the German way of life, making long-lasting memories with new friends and connections, and also to further up my career into new heights. I have waited for this opportunity since high school, and I am so glad I have finally gotten the chance to pursue it!

Neel Kakadiya from the University of Manitoba in Canada

Hallo! Mein Name ist Neel Kakadiya, and I am from the University of Manitoba in Canada. I am currently at HTW Dresden through the DAAD Program to focus on Machine Learning, with a special emphasis on Reinforcement Learning. The program attracted me because it provides practical, hands-on experience working on real-world projects, and I am particularly excited about the opportunity to work with some fascinating robots.
This experience not only allows me to collaborate closely with my fellow researchers on innovative projects but also offers a chance to immerse myself in the rich culture of Dresden. I look forward to making new connections within the academic community here, learning from diverse perspectives, and contributing to cutting-edge research in the field of Machine Learning. This combination of practical experience, cultural exchange, and academic collaboration is truly thrilling for me.

Tamoghno from University College Dublin, Ireland

Hi! My name is Tamoghno. I am a Computer Science student from University College Dublin, Ireland.
I came to HTW Dresden through the Erasmus+ Traineeship Program to learn and work on Fog Computing. Germany is a new country for me and has always been on the list of places I've wanted to visit for a long time!
I am enjoying the local culture and making friends in Dresden. I look forward to enjoying the rest of my stay here, exploring and learning about Germany. I would love to visit again in the future!
