This workshop invites international lecturers from Saxony to explore and implement student-centred teaching and learning approaches within the context of German higher education. Drawing on the trainer’s international background and firsthand experience in German universities, the workshop combines practical strategies with reflective practice.

Participants will explore the German higher education system and academic culture, examine core didactic approaches, and engage with widely used teaching methods and assessment formats. Through real-world examples and interactive activities, we will also reflect on effective feedback practices, assessment design, and the integration of student-centred approaches within the German academic settings.
